Our Story
Paw Picked Pet Care started with a lot of love and a simple belief: every pet deserves to feel safe, seen, and cared for. What began as a passion for animals quickly became something deeper, a conviction that pets deserve genuine one on one attention and their families deserve someone they can truly trust.
Rooted right here in Long Beach's Retro Row, Paw Picked was built for the pets and people we call neighbors. We offer dog walking and drop-in visits for dogs, cats, small pets, and exotics across Long Beach and the surrounding areas, and we measure every visit by one simple standard: does your pet feel relaxed, content, and secure? That is not just a goal. It is the baseline.
Our Approach
Whether you have a dog, cat, small pet, or exotic, we are here for them and only them. Puppies and kittens finding their footing, seniors slowing down a little, shy or anxious pets who need extra patience, pets with medical needs who require a more careful touch. Whatever your pet's age, ability, or personality, we show up ready and we show up just for them.
Our team is trained in positive reinforcement, experienced with pets of all ages and abilities, and knowledgeable in pet first aid. Every walk and drop-in includes fresh water, enrichment, and feeding or medication as needed. Because we know your pet is family, we send status updates and detailed report cards complete with GPS tracking, photos, and videos so you can see exactly how their time was spent and feel good knowing they are in great hands.

We take safety seriously and follow thorough protocols on every visit, because there is no such thing as being too careful when it comes to someone you love. We believe communication is everything, so we keep you informed on every detail that matters, big or small.
We also take the time to learn your pet's routine, their quirks, what makes them comfortable, what makes them light up. That knowledge does not reset between visits. We show up every time knowing your pet and caring about them the way you do.

Additional Pet
Applies per additional pet. Up to 3 additional pets per walk.

Applies on all federal holidays. Advance booking recommended.
